Behind the Drywall
Stories about what really happened before, during and after projects... sometimes a photo doesn't tell the whole story...
Mahogony Boat Bar
This mahogany boat bar, was part of an empty canvas - full basement remodel including 2 bedrooms, bathroom, wine cellar and entertaining area. The idea started as a napkin drawing and then a photo of the back of one spectacular boat on Lake Geneva, Vigor. This custom designed bar evolved as it was built and includes genuine boat parts to give it more authenticity. Today this fully commercial bar and entertaining area is truly a place the owners can enjoy for years to come.
Lake House Remodel - Stage 1
The front half of this classic lake home was divided into several smaller rooms, this did not allow the owners to entertain or truly enjoy their
magnificent lake view. The age of this home also made for some interesting challenges along the way for instance, it was over 6 inches out of level. During phase one of this home remodel, the front half of the home was completely gutted, opened up and once again brought level. The beams were added to give additional support and covered in mahogany, the
combination of the mahogany, wood floors and white molding helped to give this home a true lake feeling in the 21st century.
